Just got my trans.light indicator, courtesy lights under dash and in the back of the console working.Went through plenty of fuses and bulbs..after all the work, the hardest part was getting the light bulbs into the socket under the dash...it was hard to push them in far enough to turn and catch...I am sure they will pop out when I shut the car door...is there a trick to it? realltight fit with the courtesy light bracket and the prongs from the socket...I tried a second brand of bulbs hoping they would go in easy,but they where just as hard as the first brand....Scott

 

I remember the shape of the bulb made a difference as to whether or not I could seat the bulb. Look for on that is not very 'bulbous', but rather more like a teardrop. The teardrop shape allowed ones fingers to grasp the bulb and push it in further.
