I have a 69 coupe that I plan on fixing up, but not keeping original. I want to do some different things like shave the door handle, install power windows, lower it a bit and drop in a new crate motor. If the car was a sportsroof or any of the more desirable models, I'd restore her to her original charm. But I want to make this car unique and fun to drive.

Have you seen any photos of custom 69s that don't look like frankenstein?

What crate motor would you suggest?

If you were to do a custom option, what would it be?

393 or bigger Windsor base stroker crate would be real fun, along with a 5 speed tranny.
