Default All in the steering column.

I have two problems in the steering coloum. 1. My hazards don't work. The signal lights do and so does the horn so I chalk that up as a WTF! 2. The signal light switch disengage when I put on the left one but when I turn on the right one and it disengages it goes right past the 'neutral' position and goes all the way to putting the left signal on. It only does this when I have the new chrome turn signal switch in so I chalk that one up as the switch being too heavy. I purchased a new signal switch cam repair kit but don't think that will solve anything so I don't want to fix what probably isn't broken. OH! and yet another stupid thing I did I thought I'd share since my fan shroud situation. I put the new carpet insulation, carpet and seats in only to look on my garage floor and see the front seat belts laying there. Do you think I cut holes in the rug for the bolts? Hell NO, that would be too smart. My only saving grace is that I didn't glue the carpet down. I chalk that one up as something typical I would do.

Make sure that you have the pin for the cam return installed properly (its on the sterring wheel adapter). As for the carpet just poke the carpet from underneath the car with a screw driver...
