Default 65 convert interior paint

I bought inteior paint from a supplier. It is omni-pak lacquer blend. Med palomino. I bought two cans. Both cans spay like water. It will take a 100 coats to get any coverage. This a driver not a show car. Any suggestions on paint and color that will look good and WORK? I have been to ACE, Home depot, and the likes but haven't found one I like. Thanks in advance.

Maybe try a Mustang vendor like CJPP. I need to be buying some lacquer soon so if you get it let me know how it goes.

I feel your pain. Rainbow Paint company (can't remember which vendor I bought it from) sucks as well. Not even close. Bought four cans of the "same" parchment, and none of the cans are tinted the same. Nor are they even close to the Parchment in the car. [:@]

I'd suggest you take the ashtray to a House of Color, or other paint supplier and have them match it. That is what I'm going to do. For Christmas a few years back, my sister gave me a complete spray gun kit with a compressor and a touch up gun. Looks pretty nice, figured this would give me a chance to try it out. It wasn't a real expensive setup somewhere less than $100.00 complete.

I need to preface this by saying the only paint I've sprayed (other than rattle cans) is fence stain and wall paint, both through a Power Painter. I don't know squat about painting cars...yet.
