I have been cutting patches and stuff from fenders and hoods I have pulled off cars. The patches on the Cougars 1/4 panel, there are two in the pic, came from the passenger side fender that came off the 71 fastback.
Ay caramba... In a word, that is amazing (OK, at least to me, it's amazing ). I had just figured you found a donor quarter panel or a quarter patch skin for the repair piece.

I am in no rush to get to the body work on the 68 cougar, but I will need to make the exact same repair you just made... big dent at the front of the driver's side quarter, and the back of the driver's side door. Also, I need to fix the exact same dents at the front of the rear wheel wells, both sides. Too friggin' weird, man.

You gotta make stuff for Cougars, because nobody else does. Most of the underside will take Mustang parts, like floor pans and window seals etc. But the body is like building a 52 Nash, if you dont have it, cant find it used, dont have a parts car, you gotta make it.

Bring yours up, I should be really good at fixin that stuff when I am done with mine.. lol.
