Ok ladies and gents. just baught a 67 2 dr coupe . It was origianally a 200hp 289 2brrl carb . sometime in the mid 80s this was replaced with a 69 351w. body is in great shape only needs the lips replaced at the rear fender quarters. I've got 2 main questions. first where is a good place to order replacement panels ( will need floor board where it meets the firewall on the driverside) and parts.
second how can you tell if it is a true gt? It has the folddown gas cap with gt emblems and a small badge on the glovebox stating gt.
But from what research i was able to find it should also have disc brakes on the front and it has drum. where and for what am i looking to find out. Not sure if the original build sheet is still there or where to look ( car was restored once in the 80's so it may be gone.

BULLITT GT

True gts with a 289 have a K or A in the vin Example: 7F01(A)100001
GTs did not come 2brrl they came 289cid 4V V-8 225 hp A Code or 289cid 4V V-8 271 hp HI-PO K Code. And all gts have power disc brakes, and thier is no GT badge on the glove box. The factory build sheet should be taped under the dash on the brake peddle support bracket. Hope this helps If you have any questions send me a message and I will get back to you.
