I only drive the car in the summer and it has electric heaters for the defrost....Not a daily driver...

Mine was the same as LCC's for quite a few years with no problems.
I went back to the heater not just for colder days, but also if the car may start to overheat I could try to lower it by cranking up the heater.

yeah i was kida wondering the same thing i just havent had a chance to check out the cobra automotive site of branda? i was thinking about leaving my heater out becasue it never really gets cold in south ga we havent seen snow since 1989[8D]

sure makes your engine look more clean without those hoses
I plugged the intake port and have a rubber cap on the water pump side. I use one firewall hole for wiring (my ignition sits where the heater box used to) and the other is plugged with a cap from Ace Hardware (don't know why I did this...I need all the cool air I can get in the cabin).

And, no, you really don't want to ride in my '71 in colder weather. Heck, my tires have trouble in the summer, I can't imagine how they'd respond to cold weather.[>:]

I have just to caps clamped down on mine, works perfect, they are just dead ends. I also have a 1990 302HO though.
