Default A PerTronix Ignitor or Ignitor II

Has anyone went with a PerTronix Ignitor or Ignitor II to eliminate the Points and Condenser in Distributor? If so, is there a noticable difference? Thanks, If I'm asking to many question you can tell me to [sm=shutup.gif]

I got Ignitor and flame thrower coil IMO much better than the points but can't compare to II

just get the new pertronix billet dizzy with the ignitor II built in, then you can keep the original dizzy, and get the ignitor II coil to match!

I have the pertronix igniter, and there is a big difference in how your car will start and run.

It just starts and runs more efficiently. Before I had the pertronix, my starter would have to turn the engine over several revolutions before it started, Now, I hardly even hear the engine turn over before it is running. It idles smoothly, and just seems to have more power on the road. Another benefit, is that I will never have to change the points again.

I installed the igniter in about 20 min. It is very easy and trouble free IMO
