Default Timing Chain Area help needed PLEASE!

In assisting me with my timing chain replacement, my father-in-law removed the actual chain and sprocket parts which required removal of the eccentric fuel pump "cam" I think it's called. It bolts onto the end of the post that the top timing chain sprocket goes on. What I don't know is 1) does anything go through that second hole in the eccentric fuel pump cam (not the one the bolt goes through obviously) to help hold it in place when it rotates with the cam shaft and 2) does the pin below the afore-mentioned post that helps guide the top sprocket on ever accidentally get pushed in to far or is it stationary? Could that pin be what fuel pump cam extra hole is for? PLEASE HELP! I want to put my car back together!! Thanks!!

The fuel pump eccentric has 2 holes. One for the bolt and one for a pin in the cam. The cam gear also has these 2 holes. Make sure you have that pin.

Is that the pin that helped guide that gear or sprocket onto the cam shaft? If so, did it just get pushed in somehow and I need to pull it back out or is it a separate pin all together?
