Default Projects.

I'm trying to get my projects lined up. ( just thinking out loud here ) and get them in order by deciding what to do first.

I scored an electric fan at the local bone yard today. We were after a light switch for my friends 37' Buick and I seen the fan sitting on top of an Audi. It's a dual prop type and looks to be very close to the deminsions of my Rad. It was only 15 bucks, so I snatched it up.

I need to finish up the trunk of my car and get it out of the way, however, I am kinda burnt on body/paint work atm and this little elect. fan conversion would be a simple fab/wire and bolt on. It'd give me a needed break from a grinder in my hand.

The only thing I can see wrong with doing the Fan conversion is - I know as soon as I start on the engine bay, I will eventualy pull the motor and do it all, lol. I hate that part. I can never just do a little I gotta dive off into it. However, the HP and MPG gain from the fan is worth me doing it. I'm still running a stock steel type fan ( non clutch type ) so my gain will be considerable.

Maybe if I just get the needed hardware for the fan I can just do it and not try to do the whole engine bay. I know it needs a complete face lift, but, I just want to do a few small projects.

I also scored a 12x24 shed recently. Very nice and well built. It's already wired for 110, I'd just need to get my 220 feed to it and such. I put it right next to my 18x24 carport which I plan on pouring a slab in after christmas.

Jeebus, the list never ends.

Cheers.

good luck.
I recently put an electric fan on my 67. I'm pleased with it.
