Ok so I have a 1970 mustang coupe and I want the front end look of a 69 mustang. Will the front clips fit? do they have the same bolt patterns?has anybody done this? somebody help!

 

I've not done that, but should be a easy swap since they are basically the same bodies, just a little different bolt on's. I might be wrong but I think you can just do the head light buckets and grill and swap them.

 

i dont think you can just replace the corners, you have to do the whole front end, the 70 grille looks like its longer than the 69.

 

Are the hoods and fenders longer?

 

look up the parts see if the hood and fenders are the same both years or not

 

also, the parts you have circled are not the clip. Those are just the headlight covers. The clip is the whole front end from the firewall to the end of the hood.

 

IMO the whole front end looks like it will need to be changed to fit those headlight covers, just look at the grill work.

 

Doe's anyone have a picture of the backside of the headlight covers?
