gauge lights

where can i get new bulbs for my 69 gauge cluster? and my cluster doesn't light up at all and im just wondering how good are the lights on the gauges? can you get brighter ones?

Any parts store will carry the lights. They're a standard bulb. I know the '71-'73 Stangs had a greenish lens that could be removed to make the dash cluster brighter.

if you are looking for brighter, you could always go with iluminated gauges. The gauges are the same as the originals, only that they are white

really? we dont have that on the 71, we didnt have it with the older guages that were installed when we bought it

Look for the 4-digit GE number on the base of the lamp...they may have a 2-letter manufacturer code in front of it, but any parts store will have the lamps using the last 4 digits. You may have other problems, though, if they are all inop.
