Yeah,

I would stay away from the cam swap untill you've gotta better feel for things and you also have to worry about making sure the rest of the engine is built to work well with the cam. etc. I definately forgot to mention the Petronix switch +1 to that. I dunno if anyone else mentioned it but you can also check to make sure the timing is set well and even though its a bit more involved for newbies tuning the carb a bit can make a world of difference. I've seen guys who are able to just grab two screwdrivers make some adjustments while she idles by just listening and its like a whole new car.

ORIGINAL: LCC

Maximize the power you have and change the rear gear ratio to somthing a little taller...
better yet, go to some gears that are a little lower (numerically higher). I know what you meant, just busting some chops.

It has a rebuilt 302 that the guy I bought it from put in it. What makes it a GT is the 4-speed tranny, the dual exhaust out the rear valance and the fog lights on the grille, which I have yet to put in.

I know if u practice you can lowere your 60 foot times but what should I do for a better suspension that you guys say should be done first? Ive got big tires and traction bars ? Am i set? -Jon
