Brake cleaner, wire brush, and some elbow grease.

While the tranny was out of my coupe recently, i decided to clean and inspect the bottom sheet metel but needed a good degreaser cleaner. New product on the market carried by some, not most, Home Depot's.In the cleaning section, with the carpet cleaners, etc, is a new degreaser produced by ChemDry called Stain Extinquisher, Grease and Oil remover. Other the a plastic putty knife to strape the stubborn stuff, I was able to clean the entire bottom of my coupe, in my garage, without the need of a hose or water. Took off all the grease, grime and tranny fluid, down to the red oxide primer, and never damaged the paint. Absolutely incredible stuff.....

I;ve used Gunk before with good results. Spray it on...let it sit and then hit it with the garden hose. Also take it to the car wash...use the Gunk and then the pressure washer.
