Good old song...."Happiness is seeing Lubbock in my rearview mirror." I went to UT Austin and SFA in Nacogdoches. Texas has some fine universities, but I can understand getting out and stretchingyour legs for a semester.

Geeze, all these yung kids. I bought my first Mustang.....a 65 coupe 289 auto......in 68, payed like 1500 for it and didnt have to do any work to it. Had the drums and never gave me a problem. Ya just gotta keep your head up and looking around at the other traffic. If its wet, then start stopping a little eariler thannormal. You can do some heavy braking but not too often or your gonna overheat 'em. And never get bonded shoes, always riveted!!

Yeah, you sound like a man who has been there, done that. My shoes are rivited. However, I have been listening to these younguns, and I am convinced that the disc brake swap is the way to go. so I am saving my pennies each month to get enough to pay for the disc brake swap.

Master Power Brakes is another outlet for reasonably priced kits.

The difference between front drum and disc is night and day.
