Thanks to everyone who responded. I can't beleive i've had so many responses. Thats great!
I guess the opinions on the carb/manifolds vary which is expected but I'm glad to here
no one talked me out of converting

I'm going to study up a bit on some of the suggestions as I'm a Webber carb guy (brutal carbs to tune).

Thanks again for your help

Cheers

What about putting a stock ford 4 barrel intake on it with an Autolite 4100 carb?? Go check with Pony Carbs and see what their website says...

http://www.ponycarburetors.com/

Maybe do the "4100 Spreadbore" for a bit more umphh when the secondaries open up...

Stock 4v intake isn't that great for airflow, especially compared to an Edel or Weiand. I'd recommend the Stealth or Performer RPM with a Holley 600DP.

You should do exhaust if it aint dual... Idk if your year an what not is or isn't but mine wasn't. The more exhaust you will be burning ormakingyou can't let it out worth crap with stock, there in will make your car run bad. That way starting with headers and then h pipe and muffs then you do the intake and carb. Thats what I did and it turned out well.

But I do have a holley 600cfm 4bbl double pumper and an edelbrock intake, works flawlessy adds nice horsepower.
