Webster, Fl. Swap meet. (review)
We ended up going to the wrong place at first. We went to the Bike swap - which was pretty cool in itself. If I hadn't been loud and said...
WTF is all the car parts, we'd prolly have missed it. When I said that, a fella approached me and said - I over heard you asking about car parts? You're in the wrong spot, friend..
The car swap is about 3 miles up the road from the Bike swap. So, off we go. We get there about 9:30'ish. A little late, but there none the less.
I was impressed, all said. There was TONS of vendors. Alot were just local ( and some not ) folks that have tons of parts that meet there every first sunday of the month. That has alot to do with the prices of stuff. I noticed that alot of the stuff I seen at the Moultree swap that I seen in Webster was alot cheaper.
I picked up a few autolite 4100 carbs for 10 bucks. Alot of stainless and chrome pieces that I opted to not buy at Moultree and a few business cards from local folks. One of which had several project cars he's trying to get rid of. He has a 66' GT that's had alot of the metal work already done, including the cowl area. He's asking 4k minus a motor ( which I have a spiffy 351 that would be a perfect fit ).
Anyway - if you're ever in the Webster,Fl area around the first Sunday of each month, I highlysuggest stopping by to visit. I'll be a regular from now on.
