Default Coil insulators?

All these new spring questions brought up one for myself. Can anyone give me some info or pictures on how to put the insulator on the coil? Do I have to pry the flattened end up to slide it on?

They go on top of the coil spring between the upper shock tower.
I prefer polyurethene over the rubber and are actually necessary when using aftermarket coil springs as the rubber ones won't fit the diameter of the larger springs.
