Default 05-07 wheels on a 67 coupe

I'm new to this site. I have a 1967 coupeI've been working on for quite a while now. I'm looking for new wheels and found a great deal on a set of 05-07 bullit wheels and tires. Those anyone know if they will fit on my mustang. The vehicle has original suspension. The tires on the wheels are 235/55/17 and the wheels are 17x8. If anyone can give me an answer I wouldvery thankful.

It will depend on the backspacing. I was able to use my 01 GT Bullit Styled wheels on the rear of my 67 coupe. If the 99-04 and 05-07 Mustang GT's have the same backspacing on their 17x8 rims, it should work ok in the rear. You will, however, need to run a spacer/wheel adapter to get the wheels to fit the front. Some of these adapters are very expensive ($200 or so), so you may want to look into seeing if a wheel spacer will work ($50 or so). I know for a fact that National Parts Depot and Mustangs Plus carry the adapter set, not 100% about anyone else. Also, check out this wheel/tire guide http://www.dodgestang.com/mustang.htm it came in handy for me (thanks to soaring).
Good Luck.

Actually, you do not need a spacer in the rear. They will bolt up perfectly. Up front however, you will atleast need a 1 1/4" spacer. However, this would make your wheels look stupid since the front would be out more than the rear so you would actually need rears too. But then again, it'd look stupid with the wheels sticking out like that all around. Just save up alittle and buy the RIGHT wheels and tires. With all the spacers and extra crap, itll be the same price...

Wait. As Dodgestang said, the tires on the '05+ Mustang is taller than previous years (28.1" vs 25.6" for most...65/66 are even shorter, never messed with 67/68).

You would want/need spacers in the rear to get the wheels out a little without looking dorky.

FYI, you can get a set of Torque Thrust wheels that will fit well with tires for less than $1k. I bought a set of wheels (not Torque Thrust)/tires for my Mom's '65 Mustang for $600.
