RE: Frame Connectors
nice jack stands. i have the same ones.[sm=smiley20.gif]
is that what the currie 9" looks like? that thing looks totally alien to a regular 9......not to say it looks bad, i just thought all these like "new" rear ends were essentially remaufactured or refurbished 9" that would of come on classic stangs with a certain brands sticker on it to make it a "Currie" or whatever brand.

I have them installed on my car. http://www.midnightdsigns.com/Mustang/subframe.html
Bang for the buck, probably the single best mod you can do to your car to improve handling/stiffness.

RE: Frame Connectors
can you give me a link from where you purchased these? or similar ones? id like ot get some! I have a question about it. What if it is welded in place in a garage, and the floor isnt level? Will the frame be tweaked unlevel if its welded in that spot? or sill the suspension compensate?-Jon

RE: Frame Connectors
The write up had the link to Tinman Fab. that's where I got them.
Contact Day - he also fabricates them
http://home.bresnan.net/~dazed/DazeCars
and yes, they should be installed using an overhead rack with all 4 wheels sitting on a level surface.

RE: Frame Connectors
Yonco, be careful when you buy 71-73 frame stuff. There are a few places that try to sell you one size fits all. That don't work for the bigguns. I haven't ordered subframe connectors yet, but I've already had problems with Competition Engineering's product selection.
