Default Hipo?

I know a guy selling a Hipo block, cam, heads, and a shelby intake. I know he's selling the block and heads for 400-500, and i dont know about the other parts. Should i consider buying them if they're real hipo parts? Also, I do i know there the real deal? I know the Heads have screw in studs(can you just look and tell) and the block has bigger something right? Thanks guys.

you mean 4 main caps, or 4 bolt mains? Im sure you mean 4 main caps right? SO is it worth picking up?

PS I just realized you're way ahead of me in posts.[:@] I got to start posting more. Whenever you get that Fastback together we need to meet up somewhere's around her in Georgia.

yeah the mains are a little beefier (they are flush all the way across the standard 289/302 blocks only are a little beefier around the bolts)

the only small block from the 289/302 to get 4 bolt mains was the 69-70 boss 302

i always use times like these to upgrade. if you can afford it upgrade to some drilled and slotted rotors and upgrade the calipers. you can get them powder coated for about 50$
