I don't believe MAE racing is selling on ebay anymore, and when they were it was under the username MAEracing.

Brad, I've been happy with my MAE locker unit. If you want to step up to an Auburn, its not a bad idea, but youll be paying around $400 just for the posi carrier (when you buy from MAE, you get an entire pumpkin...i.e. new reinforced casing, gasket, bolted gearset already properly backlash set, posi carrier, assembled and ready to pop in)

call me lazy but i still havnt paid for that truetrac from MAE, but i am really considering canceling that order and just ordering a complete 8inch posi pumpkin with 3:55 gears

i have gears now waiting to be put in, but im thinking, would it be cheaper to buy the pumpkin and get someone to install the new pumpkin in or buy the gears, the truetrac and then get someone to put them in?

im thinking the first one with the posi.

its whatever you want to spend. If you buy the pumpkin, its literally pulling the axles, pulling the old one out, popping the new one in, seal the gasket, fill'er up, and your good to go.

You might actually spend more money in the long run if you buy on the stuff individually and then pay up the *** for labor and installation.

For a car with 300hp, don't you guys think the posi (w/clutch) is enough??? Should I buckle down and just shuck out the extra $200 for the trutrack (I am not going to race the car, it's more of a fun sporty car for me)????
