I have a 302HO motor that I am going to put a carb on. I have heard different things as far as what gear to use. Some people say get a bronze gear, and other say get a steel gear for the roller cam. Can someone give me a link to anaffordable dizzy I can use with a roller cam and a carb with a MSD 6AL box.

 

get a ds2 distributor with the correct gear that way you can use electrinic ignition

 

How about this one its what I have on mine but I don't have a roller yet. If you look under the applcation tab it fits 68 to 01. it does have a steel gear that will not get trashed by the cam gear.

AFAIK, only the '85 had the roller cam and carb. Buying the MSD listed above may be easier than finding a correct Duraspark. Too bad you're not doing a 351W, I have a Duraspark distributor for a roller cam.
