Looks good- Did you pull the engine before painting?

Instead of painting your manifolds, why not try polishing them. They tell me this stuff works great.

Nice job on that. I had everything out of the engine bay except the block, so I got the por15 66 Ford blue and used a brush. Very nice result - no masking.

just fyi the brackets should be black, but the paint looks great, especially for keeping it in the car.

as for the exhause manifolds, I painted mine "cast coat grey" I believe. It was supposedly a high-temp paint, but don't know how hight. Despite it being high temp it still burned off, and now its a different color. I actually like the way it looks now, gives a nice used feel and it doesn't look bad at all.

the 1500° paint should work I would think. I would paint it silver or cast coat grey. Gives a better contrast from the black fender aprons and firewall. I'll try to remember to put a pic up of my engine with the grey exhaust manifolds to give u an idea when I'm on my other computer.
