Does anyone know how fast (Aerodynamicly Speeking) a 60"s modlel mustang is capable of?

 

depends on power and frontal area as well as where it creates lift and high pressure areas.. With enough power you can get a box car to fly.

 

well i mean like a stock 67 coupe. you know nuthing special
and if power was unlimited.

 

I have heard some on here say older Mustangs will flip *** over tea kettle if you go fast enough. I don't know about that, but I have gone 115mph in my 65 coupe. I will confess it made me pucker up so tight you couldn't have drove a wedge in my *** with a ten pound sledgehammer. I have the Shelby drop and anti sways both front and back, but I still didn't feel real comfortable at that speed. I had lots more go pedal left, but it just didn't feel safe.

 

My whole car would have to be rebuilt up to todays technology. There is no wayi would trust 40 year old designs with unlimited power.

 

65' FB will go 120. Never been so scared. Lucky to be alive really.

 

68 fastback I-6,restricted to90 mph

 

66 coupe with an I6 at 100 and i had quite a few RPMs left but i had to get off at my exit

they hold the front end down by chaining the springs!?!??!?!

 

did 120 in my stock 289, has total new exhaust tho (headers duel with flowmaster 40's)

me and my friend were just truckin doen 405 and he asked how fast it would go.....so we tried to find out. nearly shat myself
