I get the choice of a Montecarlo Bar o a Export Brace, My export brace looks pretty good, so is it recommended to get a Montecarlo Bar as far as performance?

An export brace costs more than twice as much as an MC bar. Are you sure you have a one piece export brace? If you do, then get a curved Monte.

1" lowering on the upper control arms willautomaticallydrop the ride height by 1/4 to 1/2" with no change to the springs, so again comes back to how you want the car to sit.

on that drop, do you have power steering? Adjustable front strut rods? I decided against doing it for now because i have a 16:1 manual steer box (same ratio as the normal power steer one) and a quick steer kit (which is different pitman and idler arm for less turns lock to lock). its great, but very heavy already and the shelby drop was going to make that worse again. I also had some issues with wheel fitment and again that was going to make it worse. Its a simple job to do it, but may not work as well as you think...certainly that was what i found after doing a bit more homework. i may end up doing it anyway, but other priorities for now.

I like baddog have the Laurel MT kit, I haven't installed it yet, it's too freakin cold here.

It appears to be good quality stuff.

Cost me $100 to ship to North Dakota.

North Dakota? I know everybody has to live somewhere. But, why in hell would someone opt to live in that cold, desolate country? It's colder than a witch's tit there for 9 months out of the year with snow everywhere and slick roads and salt on the roads and .....

The Air Force seems to want their ICBM's a little closer to the North. I am Texan by the grace of God and can't wait till I get back to the south.
In Texas -50 degrees is a myth, in ND its a reality.

go to mustangdepot and check out there kits, bilstein shocks, maier racing springs, prothane bushings, moog control arm components with opentracker control arms, ive seen both setups and installed both IMO the mustang depot kits use better components and enhance drivability more for the money.

... as my dad who was born in ND before moving to L.A. when he was two, "Noth Dakota is a great place to be from."

I know a guy spending his first winterin Minot at the AFB and he's freezing his cheeks off! []
