Default Help with wiring

I was hoping that someone could help me. I am a wiring diagram retard. I would understand it if I could get a diagram with solid lines and little boxes with labels or pictures with the correct engine compartment wiring. I have a 351C I converted a 2V to a 4V. When I took all the stuff out of the car I labled it. In a single act of kindness my 9 year old brother "cleaned up the tape stuff"in my car. Someone please help.

i don't know if I should laugh now or say sorry.
I just received the shop manual for 1964 mustang.
And in there you have 2 types of diagram:
a) the spaghetti diagrams and
b) a picture of a car with the cables painted in (several of them). This is probably what you're looking for (like this one for 66: http://www.midlife66.com/wiring/66exter.jpg )

So if someone here has a 1971 shop manual he might be able to print and scan it for you

Thanks that actually helps alot. now I need to find one of those for a 71 mach 1. I atleast have a idea of what needs to be done. I am assuming that it is mostly the same for 65-71? anyways big props for finding something like this.

you'll find those pictured wire diagrams for the 66 in the FAQ. But for the 66 only.
Unfortunately I don't know how they're different to the 71. I have a 64. So no idea.

not sure what the inside of these looks like but I bet you could call and ask, or send an e-mail and see if they have the kind of pictures you need

Here's the diagram for '71. Take your time and it is pretty easy to figure things out. Sometimes the colors are difficult to see on the old wires. Rubing them with a rag and a little hand cleaner will make it easier.

Good luck!
