Late model C4 into stang
Hey all, I haven't been around here for a LONG time, got a new toy (motorcycle). Anyways, looking to put a late model C4 (1986 or 87, I forget) in to my '69 stang since it is relatively cheap. As far as I'm concerned, I should only need to get a torque converter for a 26 spline input shaft that matches up to my flex plate? I currently have the stock C4 in my car, except it is about as dead as a doorknob.
Thanks!
Thanks!
if its that new it will more than likely be a c5(metric version) the valve dody is a little different and they normally use a lockup type torqu converter and all the bolts are metric
