if uve only based, normally your fine for 48 hours without sanding at all. if you need to touch something up just mask the parts near where u dont need the color(ex the blue stripes) and paint it is the white just a normal white

Man, I hope the second try is the one that finally makes your baby shine, I envy you, I still need to paint my ride.

Best of luck, I dig the colors too!

Thanks guys, the white is a color I picked out of the PPG paint book. I decided not to add any pigment so it is very white.
I was going to touch up just the areas that had overspray and shoot the other base without pigment. Then I could have cleared it. The rep talked me into wet sanding the car and re-shooting the colors. She said it had to be scuffed. So the hard to get areas I will use a scotch bright pad. I have a very good feeling about the outcome.
Come to find out the friend who helped me is having marital problems. She kept calling him while we were trying to finish my car. I guess his mind wasn't all there. There will be NO cell phones tomorrow. I will be collecting them at the door.[8D]

Looking good. If your redoing it (if), do the srips first, then mask it off and then paint the rest of the car. As for the clear coat, my car was not cleared for a week, after wet sanding and fixing any areas, he just wet sanded and shot it.
