Default rear end swap

Ihave a 67 mustang that came with a 200 6. It has a 7.5 rear end andI want to upgrade the rear end and front breaks. I think im going to go with the CSRP kit for the front breaks. Im going to drop in a crate engine with about 350 hp and a 9 inch rear end. I have been looking for answers as to what carsI can find a rear end in that would be a direct bolt in without having to move the spring pirches? Also what axle lengths would work? How mush of a difference in axle lengthis ok.I have found axle lengths from 52 to 59 inchs on 9 inch rear endsand don't know what is to long? This is my first rebuild and am learning asI go. Any comments or information on what in doing would be appreciated. Thanks

Mike, we have a lot of guys on this forum who are pretty sharp cookies when it comes to building and maintaining classic Mustangs. We also have a library of information called the FAQ where you can get answers to just about any question you may have. Welcome to our world.
