changing a 68 C4 automatic to a T5 standard
I recently bought a 92' Mustang LX to use to engine, transmission, rear end, and anything else on my 1968 coupe. My 68 is an automatic, does anyone have any knowledge on this conversion? What do I need to do to switch to a standard? Can I use the existing clutch pedal and linkage from the 92 or should I buy the assembly made specifically for a 68? Any help is greatly appreciated!

So I can use the pedals from my 92 in my 68? What about the cables and linkage? Will the 92 stuff fit in the 68? I would go outside and check, but my 92 has 3 feet of snow on it! Gotta love VT!
Thanks for the links Jon, we will have to keep each other updated on success and failure with this project! I have never restored anything before, so this is a big project for me to take on.
