can adding better ignition wires change the rest of your electrical system cause i just changed the wires to the copper core ones and now my oil pressure gauge is working more accuratly and my gas gauge moves much quicker but they are unrealted parts of the ignition

How do you know that your oil is now reading more accurately and not just reading different?

Double check your connections and make sure that you don't have anything miswired. If it was a straight point A to point B wire change then I can't think of anything that would change your readings on your other gauges.

Was the wire that you replaced a heavy pink wire? If so that is a factory wire with built in resistance, but I wouldn't think that would change anything on the other circuits.
