well this kit i think is hypertech, but i think for a little more money he will do the forged.
yea i think it will take me a good year or 2 for this to work. one other thing apparently there is an upcoming law in pa where the engine has to resemble that of a stock motor. has anyone heard of this?
yea i like the clevor idea more and more again.

that law sounds like bullshiat, the only thing certain places limit you on is they have to pass smog tests for the year vehicle you have. (as far as i know)

well im all for change and i want a clevor motor real bad, the intake can be switched to efi right?
i mean i heard of the adaption plate but does that mean i use a windsor intake, which would then kill the cleve heads.

EFI: a throttle body type like holley just sits in place of the carb for about $1500. Multipoint would require 8 bosses for the injectors for about $3000. Both include a controller.

i had a holley projection 4Di setup brand new that i should have used but i was too lazy to install it and it got sold on ebay for like 1,000 bucks with a efi 302 dizzy, an old laptop and some kick *** aftermarket software for tuning. i took a loss on it but ah well. used the money to get a speed demon for the stang, and a corbin seat, a jet kit, and vance & hines pipes for my nighthawk

as for the Law about looking like the engine it came with, paint it blue and run a factory air filter. I paint the intakes, heads, and everything else the same color even if they are aluminum. I like the sleeper look and most people wont be able to tell what it is if its all the same color.. lol.. especially chevy types, they really are clueless about everything else.

For EFI you can try the universal kits like the Projection on a carbed intake but you would still need an intake. I think it would be easier to use the adapter plates and a 351w EFI intake. Its expensive but if I go EFI I'm going with the BOSS EFI kit from these guys http://www.retrotekspeed.com/ . It bolts on, same dimensions as a carb, self tuning, and is self contained in that simple unit. Oh, and on top of all that, its called "BOSS EFI". It would fit well into my BOSS theme.

Who is Fordstrokers? Never heard of him or her. Are you sure you are are on the right site?
I'm guessing he is talking about the owner of
http://fordstrokers.com/index.php

He also owns a forum called s b f tech.com. I can't post the link because it's blocked on this site. I wasn't aware he was a member here though.

Don't get discouraged. you can still get this project rolling without high dollar items like that. That is a luxery, not a necessity.
