clevor thinking 2
guys i just wanted to say thanks to the previous post i had a while back about clevor thinking, it looks as though that is the way im going, a 5.0 with cleve heads, the most out of the 5.0 w/out anything radical. just wanted to let u all know this i kno its not a big deal for anyone else but i cant wait, and will post pics as soon as its starts and most of the way through.
thanks
jim
p.s. i got the whole motor minus the intake assembled for 2100
what u think?

ur setup should be a monster if u go ahead with it. a 427 w with cleve heads and a big cam with a nice intake should make sh*tloads of power. what u puttin it in.

It will run good if your setup is right. I was looking at the CHI clevland heads for a 427 stroker build. Good luck with the project.

i love these types of builds, its definately the road less traveled and i really dig building gobs of power out of factory castings. anyone can slap a set of AFR's on their motor, but wheres the fun in that?
the even sadder part is that the cleve 2v heads will make more power than the afr 165's.

Sweet! Another Clevor guy. I've just finished building a roller cammed 408 Clevor, but I like to call it a BOSS 408. I used 2v heads becuse I wanted low compression so I could run 15lbs boost. My 2v heads have 76.2cc combustion chambers. That puts me at 8.9:1.
Have you figured out your intake options yet?

^^^dude yea they will. i was hopin to do a bigger clevor build but a boss 302 clone should work real well.
oh and yea the 2v heads make more power than the afr's. werent the afrs' loosely based off the cleve heads? if not they still dont match up. the 185's will probably make as much if not a little more than the 2v cleve's.
