Before I fry my electrical system, I had a question. I have replaced my back up light houssing with a scott drake repro set, and unfortunately tossed my old set before I looked at the bulbs. NAPA has given me model 1141 bulbs, and thhey work. However, on the inside of the back up lights housing there are two prongs, and the lights just have a single contact with the housing the ground. Model 1142 bulbs have the double prongs, but I cant make them fit!

So should I be using the model 1141 single prong, or the 1142 double prongs???


Help would be appreciated.

thanks for the info. I thought it was the 1142 bulb type. Now I just have to figure out why I cant get the 1142 bulbs to fit.
