DUDE! That is FREAKING BEAUTIFUL! That color combo isunreal - looks fabulous!

Now lower that ride a bit and it's ready to get on the road and turn some heads. Maybe even give whiplash to some gawkers!

 

I appreciate the constructive critisizm as much as the praise. I am happy with the car and that's all that counts.

I want to do the side stripes but don't want to put GT500 on the fender. I'm thinking maybe 347 STROKER.

I like my side exhaust. I am going to turn them out more on a 45 degree toward the rear wheels. 3" with chrome tips cut on a 45!

I hope to get the glass in this weekend and start on all the new seals and weatherstripping. I bought all new so she'll look good. I still need to purchase new reverse lights since the old one's look like crap. If I put them on they'd look like **** on a white horse. Then I have to paint and detail the interior. with a nice drop that thing is going to be mean as hell. I love the paint and the hood, rear deck lid combo is absolutely killer. Looks like it is really coming along.

since we are doing very similar cars, this is like very motivational for me....i havent even gone out to the garage except to get a drink from the other fridge for at least a month....i was so fed up with the damn car and the fact it was just like pouring rain outside and the overwhelming feeling of how much it was gona cost me to get it road worthy....

gotta psych myself up now....lol

 

I have to agree, it is very motivating to see other's progress. I have been so busy stripping, painting, wet sanding, ordering parts, and all the other stuff that sometimes it seems like it will never be ready.

 

Here is my 2cents don't like side exhaust other than on 4x4's and i would rather have a snorkel then, also me thinks that the white will get very dirty there. Also don't like 67-68 concaved back light area so like the shelby tail lights alot. I would not put GT500 on the fender maybe style the word clone to look GT500 if u are artistic. Would personally just have plain side stripes. But it's looking good so crack on and finish that puppy

 

The paint came out very nice and like everyone said those colors look great together. I think the pipes need to be changed up a bit. I like ot the back personally. On a whole though I think your car looks sweet.
