Yeah ill repeat what everyone else said. It looks amazing. I think you should drop it a couple inches and maybe rethink with some wider rear rims. Those look like the stockers off my old 65. Other than that it is so clean...now the engine bay haha. Good luck

[align=left]Boy don't I know how you feel. I think we get to that stage when we are trying so hard to finish the car. All I can say is just keep plugging away. It will seem like you are not getting very far and then all the sudden BAM, you're ready for paint. My car still looked like crap until we sealed and primed it (see the pic below). This pic is exactly 2 months old. If you need any words of wisdom let me know. When it comes to body work, take your time. I nit picked the body and I'm glad I did. Light is your best friend when looking for dings. Even after you prime you will find lots of stuff you missed the first time. I can even say I'm glad I had to re-shoot the base coat. After the first fiasco I found some imperfections that I fixed. I went in the shop and looked at my baby this morning. We have lights about 1' off the ground all the way around the shop. My car looks like glass. There is not one ding anywhere. When I look down the sides I am truely amazed how perfect it is. I don't think new cars are as straight as mine. I am soooooo happy with the outcome. I couldn't say that one week ago though when the blue got all over the white. I was sick to my stomach. But, things turned out for the best. Now, the interior!

since we are doing very similar cars, this is like very motivational for me....i havent even gone out to the garage except to get a drink from the other fridge for at least a month....i was so fed up with the damn car and the fact it was just like pouring rain outside and the overwhelming feeling of how much it was gona cost me to get it road worthy....

gotta psych myself up now....lol

Rusty, the tires that are in the pic are stock. I need to retake that pic with my COYS. These are the tires and wheels I am running. I am planning on dropping the front end when I put my new 9" in.

Well I hate that you painted it those colors!! It looks like crap and you should really chang it soon!
I grewup inPalmer you know you stole MY color scheme!!!! Being from Wasilla you know you have to go Red and White! Blue and White is world renown to be alocal Pamer boy's colors, ONLY! Maybe you could move to Palmer (won't help my car though) but it may just correct the world imbalance you have just caused with this paint job.

Deep sigh....

Ok you did a really nice job, and your car looks sweet!Great Job!!

just an idea: DON"T drive that car to a Wasilla HSvs.Palmer HSfootball game if it's in Wasilla... lol!

Damn 05. you know if I were to paint my car red and white I'd never win a race[8D]. I've been going to the Warrior games for the last 4 years. Now that my daughter graduated last year and she no longer cheers, I'll have to wait another 5 years before my little one goes to Wasilla.

Just an update. I was going to put the glass in today but lost a lot of time. The F350 Diesel I am driving didn't want to start this morining. Too cold I guess. I had to plug her in and put the battery charger on.

I got to Elmendorf after noon and started. I put the chrome on and assembled the front end. Both front and rear bumpers are now on. I prepped and painted the grill and inside quarter panels. I also put new felt in the wing window rail and re-assembled the passenger side door wing window and trim. I got her back onto the car hauler so I can bring her home tomorrow. That way I can work on her after work now that there is more daylight.
