Default Torque Converter Companies

Was wondering if anyone has purchased a custom stall torque converter and what their experiences were (good or bad). I need to order one and only seem to find that most companies kinda scare you from buying from their competition with all sorts of reasons so who do you trust? I posted a thread a while back regarding how to figure out what a guy needs and got a reply to go to Edge Racing Converters and purchase one from them. There are several companies such as Precision, TCI, TCS, and Edge. I'm sure there are many more and just wanted to make sure I didn't go to far wrong. I'm from Alberta and would have to order from the States. Thanks in advance.

You might try Jay at Broader performance, he built up my FMX and made a custom converter. He knows Fords.

I have a TCS and extreamly happy with it. We ran Precision Industries in the race car and they worked awsome.....my experience is spend good money the first time. I paied $800 CDN for mine 6 years ago and haven't looked back...

i was probably the one that said go with Edge Racing, i have my Mustang II converter from them and everything is calculated for stall based on cam, gearing, tire size, etc. they had a good price, quality product, and a free t shirt. when my planetary blew out i sent the converter back for a "cut and clean" which they gladly did for pretty cheap and sent me another tshirt
