Default paint issue

i have a 1966 coupe

hte problem is before i bought my car it was restored and whoever did the paint made a mess of it, dont get me wrong it looks ok but if u look closely and when its polished up u can see that the paint ran, i wonderin is it a big job to fix this and roughly what kinda cost are invovled, is it a tough polish to do all the sanding myself, is it difficult and maybe geta pro to spray it

You didn't say what king of paint such as a single stage or base/clear. If it is single stage then you could wet sand out the problems in the paint and then polish it back up to a shine. There are plenty of articles around about how to wet sand the paint and I advise you to read many of them and practice on something not as valuable before diving in. Done right you can do an amazing job though.

If you take it to a pro to get it sprayed, then you will want to make sure to get the the paint flattened anyway so that those runs do not show in the new paint.

As for the dash, I haven't taken mine out (yet!) so I can't help.
