go ahead and give your opinions. even soaring. the rims i have on there now are only on there during the restoration process. putting foose wheels on once i get her out of paint. i may try that rustoleom paint before i have it painted just for fun. i like the stance however my foose rims are 18 in the rear instead of 17. i will run a 35 series in the front instead of these 45.

Very cool. I don't think you can go any lower. Was that a R valance I seen in another pic? It should look great. What color will it be?

yea the front valance is the one that retains the stock bumper but still has the opening. got it from mustangs plus. all thier fiberglass stuff sucks. the trunk lid is horrible. everything needs to be re-worked.

as far as paint im just going to paint it all white with dark red interior. some nice rims and be done with it.

So, what you are saying is that the pics you have here are not what the car will look like in the end result? God, I hope not. Those wheels are too big and shiny. Going with 18's on the back, huh? Depending on the profile of the tires, it will look like a stink bug coming down the road. [:'(]

too shiny? they are aluminum. i dont think i like the 17's in the front. might go with a 16 in the front and a 17 or 18 in the rear. a stink bug? lol..no the rims will tuck a bit

I like the rims. As for the paint, I am doing the Tremclad/Rustoleum method now and I am doing all white. Today i put the turn signal lights back in the froont valance and it looks terrific. I was going to do the Wild Raspberry (a very dark burgundy) but couldn't perfect the method. The white goes on much better though so I am thinking that there must be a different recipe for the Wild Raspberry I was using.

I am going to post some pictures soon of the progress and the method, and my method is a little different than the other posts here about a month ago. At this point I have the method down to the pont that I will park my car along side any factory painted white car around.

I'll make you a deal. Send me those wheels and I'll send you the Tremclad and all the email support you need. You get a paint job for $100-$150 bucks and the satisfaction of doing it all yourself.

Be sure to get "Mineral Spirits" and not paint thinner that conatains mineral spirits such as Varsol. That's the first mistake I made when the people at the hardware store told me "it's the same thing".
