Default LCA washers?

I was in the garage this morning messing with the couple nuts that are hindering me from making any progress and didnt get much done. I did manage to get the swaybar off which just took a few minutes but now Im down to the rear bolts on the LCA's and the 2 nuts at the end of the strut rods. I got the nut off the driver LCA but when trying to remove the bolt, it just spun and spun. Further investigation reveals what looks like huge washers, one on each side of the mounting area that are just spinning. Is there a special name for these washers? They are about the size of a 50 cent peice and drilled off center. Thanks

Nobody? Come on guys! Well, I got the washers off anyways, along with the bolts. The washers are drilled off center becuase the bolts dont go through a normal hole where it mounts to the frame, it is on a slide. Put the washer on one way and the arm comes closer to the engine(way they were), but Im wondering what would happen if you turned them around, which brings the arm further away from the engine. Playing with it without being bolted up, it looks like it would widen the suspension of the car and tuck it closer to the body?

Any suspension experts in the house?

Those are your camber adjustment washers, you will most deffinitly need to get a professional alignment when you get her all back together. Just eyeballin it wont do, trust me. A little movement goes along way. They wont affect your caster at all, unless you install them wrong.

If you turn it around and move the LCA away from the body your going to get some serious negative camber(way too much for any use), unless mustangs are different from everything else.

I figured they had something to do with the adjustments to the suspension. I dont remember what camber and all that crap is, but the car will be adjusted by a professional. I put them in a baggie of carb cleaner to get most of the junk off and Ill put them back on the best I can later...
Thank you!

Opps my mistake you are correct they will not affect the caster, only the camber
Baddog ,camber is the amount your tires lean in and or out from the car .Caster is the same thing only going forward and backward.
