There's no doubt that I am the senior old fogie on here. I think it is absolutely wonderful that we have teens who are into auto mechanics and especially Mustangs. It keeps you off the streets and your pecker in your pants.

 

OMFG Glenn, I don't think they use the work pecker anymore. Man I feel like it was just yesterday that was me, now I mention some TV show at work and all my Airmen are like, "HUH????[&:]"

I am by no mean old nor young, I just hope my little girl will be into mustangs when she gets older.

 

I can't wait to finish my '65, it's been consuming all my time, I haven't gone to a party in at least 6 months; oh well, it's well worth it. I sure wish I had auto shop at my school. Good luck with your stang.

I was thinking the same thing, remember Mr. Soaring is a retired school teacher, respect.....Now children, I'm putting on my thinking cap and trying to remember what it was like when I was 20......Ah not so long ago (I'm 37), broke, driving my parents car (72 Buick Rivera with 455 Stage1) hanging out at the Sears parking lot at 2AMtelling lies on how fast my car (parents) was....Being a PECKER head (trolling for chicks)......AH the good days. I thank god every day I survived, without a record [sm=innoc.gif](I know the local cops well) and now have money to build a car.....I applaud you kids (less then 30) that you have a interest in the classics and not the ricers. Well these mustangs will definitely keep us young at heart, no matter what your age. I'm so glad I didn't get into the import/tuner/ricer croud...... I highly dislike them. But i don't want to get started on that lol.

 

Yeah I don't see why more young-ins are not realy intoauto mechanics (not rice.... rice= fake auto mechanics). I am only 20 and I love working on the car, I don't even hang outwith friends if there is a part to be put on...

 

^ya im 16 and i love cars...but if theres a part to put on i invite a few friends over to work on it. i usually end up doing all the work while i listen to them tell me how awesome my car is
