for the "original blue" color for my 289 block do i have to look for a special brandname..or avoid one... since i have the experience with my chevy block that not all brands deliver the "right" color.
i had used plasti-kote "chevy orange " but it was not the real stuff... had to get the VHT (PJ1) that was the exact one.... i wanna avoid this color mix with my ford engine.
any one the color code by hand?

Believe the blue is called "Ford Corporate Blue"

 

Old Ford Blue (lighter), or Ford Blue (darker).

 

Check the faq, they have info on correct paint.
