My 2100 has a hose clip attached so that the hot water running through the heater heats up the choke mechanism. Of course, that wold only work if you have the heater on.

That'sa pretty ingenius idea! But Glen, doesn't the water run through the heater core constantly anyway, regardless of whether you have the heater on? I'm not really sure...
No, otherwise during the summer you would get hot air coming out of the heater core.

How come I can't find that hose clip on any part vendor sites if it was so common? Even though I have an automatic choke, I think it wouldn't hurt to place the heater hose next to the housing as well since I'm not too sure on teh effectiveness of my current choke tubes. I'm sure I could make something to work...
