Default upgrading from drums to disk brakes

I am a newbie to the Mustang forum and I would like to know if anybody has had experience with up grading drums to disks. How complex and approx. costs. Good place to buy a kit? Is it worth it?

Thanks

Easiest and cheapest is to salvage from same year(s) as yours, get all the parts. Not very hard to do, especially if you disassemble the old one. The new kits can be expensive, but having disks up front is a lot better than drums.

All you need is the front to be disk. You can use the brakes from a ford grenada. There is more to it then just changing them, but that is the easyest and cheapest way.

I used 71 Ranchero front Spindle assy on my 67 fb. Bolted right on except I had to use 71 outer tie rod ends. 68 and newer have single piston calipers and are cheaper.
