Rear axle question

Default Rear axle question

the rear carrier housing is not comming off i took all the nuts off and removed bothe axles [&:]

Hammer time, and maybe a chisel. Just don't let it cut the housing. Wack the crap out of it!

Check to be sure all the copper washers are off. They are a tight fit on the studs and can hold you up from taking the diff out. If the washers are off, then use a screwdriver the pry it away from the housing. I've also had to use a floor jack on the pinion nose. Slowly jack it up until it breaks loose. In either case, be ready with a pan to catch the fluid!
