1967 engine swap?
If you are planning to replace everything under the car (and you should if you do what you are asking) to quote Henry II:
"There is no substitute for cubic inche displacement."
I recommend using a 351 TRUCK block....if you want to get trick go with the late model FI from a salvage yard, get all the stuff and you then have an engine with LOTS of torque and good mpg. This also gives you the basis for upgrading later to bigger cams heads. I'm also willing to bet you can find a very good low milage unit COMPLETE for less than you will find-build-buy a 351 crate motor.
Whatever you decide. Good luck.

I do know that i want to stay carb'd from what i understand you can get power really cheap with carb's, and parts come cheaper to replace them too.
