200ci engine problems

Well I put in a new one when I rebuilt it, both the round piece and the square piece...See this page for pictures of what I'm talking about.
What all is there to tune on a carb. In my dream last night I had something come to me. I think the mixture screw is out way to far. But, it may not be. There is that, the idle speed screw, and what else?

Don't the stock I6's have a big fuel filter that looks like a small oil filter? Geez it has been 20 years since I wrestled with one. I remember it being blue in color and in front of the steering box. I might be confused, usually am.

but the the old filter pops out and an new filter is about $6 at autozone.
You need to send that carb to Pony carbs or get one from them. Here is what they have to say about that POS.
>>>The 1100 is one of our specialty products. The day the carburetors were manufactured they had engineering problems, and in-driveability, those problems were hesitations and flat spots on acceleration, a general lack of power, and hard starting when hot. We correct all of those problems during the restoration by re-engineering the interior specifications of the carburetor. <<<

Hahaha, yea, it sure is a POS, but I'm stuck with it for now. And I need a driveable vehcile pretty quick too
I can see Pony carbs charging me a ton for that. I've seen their prices on the ones they sell and WOW... I might just get a Carter YF or go with another alternative.

I have a friend who bought his from Autozone. He said, the day you get it, make sure it works on your car, then rebuild it, because they are not well put together.
