Default Insurance?

Can anyone guide me toward some good classic car insurance (using Allstate for my other cars)?

I am considering Hagerty after my current policly lapses in April. I looked on their site and couldn't tell what their mileage/year requirements were. Anyone know what they mean when they say...

Flexible Usage. Drivers can enjoy their classics with comfortable limits. Our policy allows for an occasional leisure drive, not just to parades or car events.

There was a post on insurance recently, most offer discounted premiums but have restrictions like, must be garaged, driven so many miles per year, must have a daily driver for all drivers in home, etc....

If you have a weekend cruiser they seem to work out good but not if you have a daily driver, hope this helps.

Hagerty and American collectors are 2 I can think of.

I went with American Collectors Insurance over Hagerty because Hagerty would not insure an AC Cobra replica, which I figure I'll get before too long.

No problems what so ever.

Check with your current insurance company and see what they offer. Due to my "umbrella policy" through my insurance company, I must keep higher than minimum liability limits on the vehicles and home and then this policy kicks in. For that reason, I'll be likely using my current carrier to keep things tidy.
