Default Ignition Coils

Well im trying to find a coil for my 302 engine. Everything is stock as far as i know of on the ignition system. Should i just go with a stock coil or something with more performance?? Also do i need anything else as far as coil.... Reason i ask is when i bought my car it didnt have anything on it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you are still running points, you might consider the pertronix system. The flamethrower coils mate very well with the electronic module, and the price is surprisingly low. Check them out.

If you don't step up to an electronic ignition system, just go to a car parts place like Autozone or Pepboys and get a stock coil for your stock setup. Flamethrower also has a coil that works with the points system, but it is a few bucks more. Check their website.
